Glazing Experts is an information and quote-comparison service for UK homeowners. We are the data controller for the information you submit through this website.
What we collect
When you complete the quote request form we collect:
- Your contact details: first name, last name, email address, phone number and postcode.
- Your answer to whether you own your home, so enquiries can be handled appropriately.
- Marketing attribution data captured automatically, including the campaign source, medium, term and content (UTM values), advertising click identifiers (for example Google and Meta click ids), the page you first arrived on, your browser user-agent and your IP address.
How we use your information
We use your details to process your quote request and to match you with a vetted, accredited local installer suited to your enquiry. We, or the matched installer, will contact you by telephone about the request you made — the call is directly related to your quote enquiry. We do not sell your data for unrelated marketing.
The marketing attribution data helps us understand which campaigns bring genuine enquiries and to prevent fraudulent or duplicate submissions.
Lawful basis
We process your contact details to take steps at your request before any service is provided (your submission of the form). Attribution data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in measuring and protecting our service. You can object to processing at any time using the contact details below.
Who we share it with
Qualified enquiries may be passed to a matched, accredited local installer so they can prepare your quote and contact you. We also use trusted technology suppliers who host this website and process form submissions on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry details for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted or anonymised, unless we are required to keep them longer to meet a legal obligation.
